  DESCRIPTION
ORIGINAL 1970 U.S. APPLE FIRST PRESSING "ALL THINGS MUST PASS" COMPLETE LP ALBUM BOX SET,
AUTOGRAPHED CIRCA 1994 BY GEORGE HARRISON.

GEORGE HARRISON'S FIRST CONVENTIONAL SOLO ALBUM, "ALL THINGS MUST PASS" WAS RELEASED IN THE U.S. ON NOVEMBER 27, 1970. THE OVERWHELMING FAVORABLE RESPONSE TO THE THREE RECORD BOX SET WAS A PLEASANT SURPRISE FOR GEORGE, WHO HAD DOUBTS ABOUT HIS MASSIVE BACK-LOG OF SONGS WRITTEN DURING THE PERIOD THAT SAW THE END OF THE BEATLES AS A GROUP. GEORGE'S LACK OF CONFIDENCE IN HIS SONGWRITING IS NOT SURPRISING CONSIDERING THAT HE WAS OVERSHADOWED BY JOHN AND PAUL. FURTHERMORE, THE PAIR SHOWED LITTLE
INTEREST IN HAVING THE BEATLES RECORD HIS SONGS, AND DURING THE "GET BACK" SESSIONS, GEORGE DISCUSSED DOING A SOLO ALBUM. HE ACCEPTED THE FACT THAT HE WOULD NEVER BE GIVEN EQUAL TREATMENT IN THE BEATLES REGARDING THE RECORDING OF HIS SONGS, AND BEGAN WORK ON THE ALBUM SHORTLY AFTER PAUL ANNOUNCED HE HAD QUIT THE BEATLES AND WAS RELEASING A SOLO ALBUM OF HIS OWN.

FAB 4 COLLECTIBLES IS EXTREMELY PROUD TO OFFER AN ORIGINAL FIRST PRESSING OF THE "ALL THINGS MUST PASS" BOX SET, AUTOGRAPHED BOLDLY ON THE BOX COVER IN BLUE BALLPOINT PEN BY GEORGE HARRISON. GEORGE ALSO ADDS "BEST WISHES" ABOVE HIS SIGNATURE. ADDITIONALLY, HE DRAWS A CROSS TO THE LEFT OF HIS SIGNATURE, AND TO THE RIGHT HE SCRIBES IN Sanskrit, The universal SYMBOL FOR "Om". GEORGE OCCASIONALLY DREW THIS SYMBOL, WHICH is UNIVERSALLY placed at the beginning of most Hindu texts as a sacred incantation to be intoned at the beginning and end of a reading of the Vedas or prior to any prayer or mantra.

THE LP WAS SIGNED AT THE L'AUBERGE DEL MAR SPA RESORT IN DEL MAR, CALIFORNIA AROUND 1994, when world renowned mind and body spiritual healer dr. deepak chopra hosted a conference at the resort. supervised by the sharp hospital group, many FAMED celebrities attended, including george harrison. THE LP WAS AUTOGRAPHED BY GEORGE FOR THE FRONT DESK MANAGER OF THE RESORT AT THAT TIME. A LETTER OF PROVENANCE FROM THE ORIGINAL RECIPIENT OF THE AUTOGRAPH ACCOMPANIES THE LP, WHICH OFFERS A FULL AND DETAILED ACCOUNT OF HIS MEETING GEORGE. A SECTION OF HIS LETTER READS: "NO ONE REALLY KNEW AT THE TIME WHY ALL THESE PEOPLE WERE THERE AND HOW SERIOUS SOME OF THE ILL FOLKS WERE BUT IN THE END WE ALL NOW KNOW WHY GEORGE WAS THERE. HE WAS SUFFERING FROM THE EARLY STAGES OF CANCER".

THE SIGNATURE IS BEAUTIFULLY EXECUTED, AND HAS REMAINED BRILLIANT AND CRISP OVER THE YEARS. THE OVERALL CONDITION OF THE BOX COVER IS VG++, AND HAS SOME AREAS OF AGE TONING ON THE FRONT COVER, YET, THE AUTOGRAPH AND OTHER WRITINGS HAVE NOT BEEN AFFECTED BY WEAR OR AGING AT ALL, AND IN PERSON THE BLUE INK REMAINS BEAUTIFULLY STRIKING AS THE DAY IT WAS SIGNED BY GEORGE. THE SIDES OF THE BOX TOP COVER ARE ALL FIRM AND THE CORNERS HAVE NO SPLITS. JUST THE USUAL HANDLING WEAR THROUGHOUT.

THE BOX INCLUDES ALL THREE LP RECORDS IN THE SET ACCOMPANIED BY THEIR ORIGINAL CUSTOM INNER SLEEVES. THE RECORDS GRADE IN RANGE FROM NEAR MINT TO VG++, AND THE CUSTOM INNER SLEEVES ARE NEAR MINT WITH NO SPLITS. THE ORIGINAL 24" X 36" POSTER THAT WAS ENCLOSED IN THIS BOX SET IS INDEED STILL THERE AND INCLUDED, GRADING A  GORGEOUS NEAR MINT WITH JUST A 1" VERTICAL SPLIT IN THE FOLDED CREASE AT THE VERY TOP. NO PINHOLES OR TAPE.

A SIGNED ORIGINAL "ALL THINGS MUST PASS" LP BOX SET RATES RIGHT UP THERE AS AMONG THE RAREST OF ALL GEORGE HARRISON SIGNED ITEMS TO ACQUIRE.

ACCOMPANIED BY LIFETIME LETTERS OF AUTHENTICITY FROM FRANK CAIAZZO & FAB 4 COLLECTIBLES.
