My name is
THOMAS VANGHELE
First Generation & PASSIONATE Fan of

AND PROPRIETOR OF
Along with many of you my very first recollection of
The Beatles
came upon a cold
February night
in 1964 - Sunday the 9th - to be precise -
watching with glee on a black-and-white Admiral
television.
Gene Simmons of the rock group Kiss puts
in beautifully :
"I remember watching.
It was as poignant a moment as when
the monolith
appeared in front of those apes in
the movie '2001 : A Space Odyssey'.
It changed my sense of being."

There I am,
holding my latest prized possession,
the newly released Lp "BEATLES' 65 " (Mono, of course) -
on Christmas morning 25 December 1964.
I had just broken the Seal on the LP,
and my brother Alex is ready on his new "kit".
In a few moments, the first track "No Reply"
blared out on that phonograph
just behind me.
eight months later in the summer of 1965, I was one
of the fortunate ones to see The beatles live at the
infamous concert at Shea Stadium, 15 August 1965 .
I HAD THE HONOR AND PRIVILEGE
TO MEET AND SPEND SOME TIME WITH
YOKO ONO LENNON :
HERE WE ARE IN FRONT OF " THE DAKOTA "
ON 72ND STREET & CENTRAL PARK WEST,
THE HOME SHE SHARED WITH JOHN AND SEAN . . . . AND WHERE TRAGEDY OCCURRED.
MY COUSIN CARA (HUGE BEATLES
FAN) IS PICTURED WITH US.
ONCE THE PHOTO WAS DEVELOPED, I SENT THE PHOTO TO YOKO -
AND SHE WAS KIND ENOUGH TO SIGN IT AND MAIL IT BACK !! HOW GREAT IS SHE ??
MY HEARTFELT
THANKS TO THOSE WHO HAVE CONTRIBUTED
TO THE SUCCESS OF OUR BUSINESS :
MY DARLING WIFE, JANICE

WHOSE LOVE, INSPIRATION & BELIEF -
HAS ILLUMINATED
THIS PATH TO GROWTH, SUCCESS, & CONTENTMENT.
And To My Respected Colleagues
