This Third State Mono (Peeled) Butcher Cover
has to be one of the cleanest and brightest
we have ever acquired. Truly an astonishing
example of the "peel process", graded at a Near Mint :

The removal of a trunk slick from the Scranton, PA. factory
(which this # 3 Cover is) is always a fairly successful process,
for Modern Album of New York used a water-soluble glue.
The removal of the Trunk Cover Slick was so perfect,
that the Butcher Slick remained perfect !!

The "peel process" was so successful on this Cover,
that its original Trunk Cover Slick was left intact, perfect -
and accompanies the Butcher Cover :

A close-up scanned image of this Cover
displays the dark, rich, bold textures :

The Back Cover is stunningly clean as well,
and the spine is the strongest
and most clearly legible we have seen.
There is just that typical very faint thin line of yellowing
on the edge of the mouth opening, as evident in the photo below :

The matching East Coast record accompanies
the Cover and the peeled Trunk Slick,
and grades a very nice VG++ vinyl with Near Mint labels !!
The original 1966 Capitol orange inner sleeve is also included !

As an added attraction,
a "copy" of the Capitol Records original
"Recall Letter" that went out to all
distributors & promoters on
June 14, 1966 - is also included :
