BECAUSE VEE-JAY RECORDS MANUFACTURED ONLY 2,202 STEREOPHONIC COPIES OF VERSION ONE "INTRODUCING THE BEATLES" ALBUMS, THE NUMBER OF STEREO "AD BACKS" AND "BLANK BACKS" IS OBVIOUSLY VERY LIMITED.

SHROUDED IN MYSTERY THEN COMING INTO THE PICTURE MUCH LATER IS THE STEREOPHONIC VERSION ONE "TITLES ON BACK" COVER VARIATION. THIS STEREO COVER WITH "LOVE ME DO" AND "P.S. I LOVE YOU" IS QUITE A STORY IN ITSELF (VJ1062(1).SC3, SPIZER), BEING BOTH THE MOST COMMONLY FOUND - BUT RAREST LEGITIMATE VERSION ONE STEREO COVER. OVER THE YEARS, SEVERAL HUNDRED THOUSAND COUNTERFEIT COPIES OF "INTRODUCING THE BEATLES" WERE ISSUED WITH THIS COVER VARIATION. THE OVERWHELMING NUMBER OF THESE COUNTERFEIT COVERS CAUSED EXPERTS TO BELIEVE THAT THERE WERE NO LEGITIMATE COPIES. DEALERS AND COLLECTORS THEN BEGAN A QUEST TO DETERMINE IF THERE WERE ANY LEGITIMATE "TITLES ON BACK" VERSION ONE STEREO COVERS. IN NOVEMBER 1995, A LEGITIMATE COVER SURFACED AND WAS VERIFIED AS AUTHENTIC BY BEATLES RECORD EXPERT, PERRY COX.

WHILE MOST PEOPLE FOUND LEGITIMATE VERSION TWO MONO COPIES OF THE ALBUM WITH "PLEASE PLEASE ME" AND 'ASK ME WHY", SOME INDIVIDUALS UNCOVERED WHAT APPEARED TO BE THE VERY VALUABLE "LOVE ME DO" STEREO "TITLES ON BACK" COVER. UNFORTUNATELY FOR THEM, IT WAS ALMOST ALWAYS FOOL'S GOLD - A COUNTERFEIT COVER CONTAINING A COUNTERFEIT RECORD.

CURRENTLY, WITH APPROXIMATELY ONLY FIFTEEN TO TWENTY LEGITIMATE COVERS HAVING BEEN VERIFIED TO EXIST AT ALL - IT MAKES IT MUCH RARER AND SCARCER THAN BOTH THE VEE-JAY MUCH HERALDED "AD BACK" STEREO ALBUM, AND "THE BEATLES AND FRANK IFIELD" STEREO "PORTRAIT COVER" ALBUM. IN BRUCE SPIZER'S GREAT BOOK "SONGS, PICTURES AND STORIES OF THE FABULOUS BEATLES ON VEE-JAY", PUBLISHED IN 1998, HE STATES AS OF THAT DATE, NO MINT OR NEAR MINT COPIES OF THE "TITLES ON BACK" VERSION ONE STEREO COPIES HAVE BEEN FOUND.

FAB 4 COLLECTIBLES IS MOST PROUD TO OFFER FOR THE FIRST TIME, A NEAR MINT LEGITIMATE "INTRODUCING THE BEATLES" VERSION ONE "TITLES ON BACK" STEREOPHONIC ALBUM. WITHOUT QUESTION, THIS IS THE LP THAT IS AMONG THE RAREST OF ALL COMMERCIALLY ISSUED U.S. BEATLES ALBUMS - THE FIRST NEAR MINT EXAMPLE TO HAVE SURFACED - MAKING IT ONE OF, IF NOT, THE VERY BEST CONDITION EXAMPLE KNOWN TO EXIST. OF ALL THE BEATLES VEE-JAY ALBUMS AND ANY OTHER U.S. COMMERCIAL ISSUED ALBUM, THIS PARTICULAR VERSION OF "INTRODUCING THE BEATLES" IS THE RAREST VARIATION.

THE COVER STILL RETAINS THE IN-STORE "SEARS ROEBUCK & CO" LOOSE STYLE BAGGY- WRAPPING. THE BAGGY HAS DONE ITS JOB IN PRESERVING THE COVER IN ITS 'AS NEW' NEW NEAR MINT CONDITION. THIS IS ONE OF THE MOST BEAUTIFUL EXAMPLES OF THIS ALBUM THAT HAS SURFACED. UNLESS SEALED PERFECT, IT CANNOT BE UPGRADED. THE "SEARS" LOOSE STYLE WRAPPING IS RETAINED ON THE COVER. IT HAS DONE IT'S JOB IN PRESERVING THE COVER IN ITS NEW NEAR MINT CONDITION. CORNERS ARE FIRM AND THE PAPER GOES ALL THE WAY TO EDGES. NO HINT OF SPLITS AND THE SEAMS ARE TOTALLY INTACT. THIS COVER IS SIMPLY MAJESTIC ON BOTH FRONT AND BACK, EDGE TO EDGE, SEAM TO SEAM AND CORNER TO CORNER. THE only smallest bit of wear THAT IS EVIDENT IS at the outer right side TOP AND BOTTOM corners tips THAT HAVE BEEN EXPOSED OUT OF THE BAGGY-WRAP OVER THE YEARS. THESE AREAS OF WEAR ARE MINIMAL, light and do NOT PENETRATE through. THE COLORS AND GRAPHICS ARE BRIGHT AND VIBRANT. THE BACK COVER IS BRIGHT WHITE AND VERY CLEAN. THE PRINT ON THE BACK IS BOLD AND SOLID WITH NO WEAR.

The RECORD IS INDEED THE Label variation THAT is the VERY FIRST ISSUE of THE STEREO Version One, which matches the Cover precisely and correctly. It is the Colorband and Oval logo variation with the word "STEREO" at the 12 o'clock position. It has centered song titles IN THE stylistic serif titles and songwriters' credits. It also has "Long Playing" and "Microgroove" on the label. This variation was pressed by ARP. ( VJ1062(1).SR1A, Spizer ). THIS RECORD IS AMONG THE BEST EXAMPLES OF THIS DISC WE HAVE SEEN. THE VINYL IS TRULY 'AS NEW' NEAR MINT WITH NEAR MINT LABELS. THERE IS NO EVIDENCE OF BEING PLAYED.

THIS IS INDEED A WORLD CLASS COLLECTIBLE, A CROWNING JEWEL - ONE OF THE ALL TIME RAREST BEATLES ALBUMS - A MOST STUPENDOUS EXAMPLE OF AN "INTRODUCING THE BEATLES" STEREOPHONIC "TITLES ON BACK".  THE ORIGINAL VEE-JAY "AD BACK" INNER DUST SLEEVE IS ALSO INCLUDED.

ACCOMPANIED BY LETTER OF AUTHENTICITY FROM PERRY COX, BEATLES U.S. RECORDS EXPERT, AUTHOR OF "THE BEATLES RECORD PRICE GUIDE" SERIES OF BOOKS.

DUE TO THE FACT THAT the original 'Sears & ROEBUCK' loose style BAGGY wrap
IS RELATIVELY EASY TO SLIDE OFF AND REMOVE, WE ALSO PHOTOGRAPHED the cover
with THE BAGGY WRAP off AS WELL, TO TRULY DISPLAY
THE MAGNIFICENT BEAUTY OF THIS NEAR MINT COVER:
